Every
Child Matters organized a non-partisan "Step Up for Kids Day" to draw
public attention to issues affecting America's children. D.C. launched
this nationwide event that was held at state capitols and cities in
nearly every state. Children gathered in front of City Hall for a
morning rally, followed by a political forum where a local reporter
asked young people how the government should address the needs of
children and families.
