Register & Vote

Early Voting: In Iowa you may vote early in person at your local election office using an "absentee" ballot beginning September 25. You may use an absentee ballot to vote in person at your local election up through Election Day

Important Dates
Registration: October 25 (NOTE: voter registration is available the day of the election with proper ID)
Absentee Ballot voting: September 25 to November 5 (pick up at County Auditor's office)
General Election: November 4 until 7 p.m. 

Step Up for Kids Day

step_up_smaller.jpg Every Child Matters organized a non-partisan "Step Up for Kids Day" on September 16 to draw public attention to issues affecting America's children.  In combination with cities in every state and Washington, DC, we raised public attention to children in Iowa and across the country during this critical election year.  Highlights of our day at the capitol are forthcoming.
