As part of the nationwide STEP UP FOR KIDS DAY held on September 16 in state capitols in nearly every state, Tom LaPointe of Every Child Matters leads a press event with children's advocates.  The event called attention to the challenges Iowa's children face, as well as solutions that Iowa has developed for its own kids in need.
