Step Up for Kids Day

Every Child Matters organized a day for children and their families to raise awarness of kids' issues at the state Capitol in Baton Rouge, mirroring events that took place in all fifty states.

Speakers Included: Anna Fogle, executive director of Prevent Child Abuse Louisiana; Charmaine Caccioppi, president of Louisiana United Way Associations; Dr. Pat Cooper, executive director of Early Childhood and Family Learning Foundation; Elder Brandon Boutin of Greater St. Stephen Baptist Church; and special guest Whitney Vann if WBRZ TV Channel 2.
