Step Up for Kids Day '08
 We organized a non-partisan event "Step Up for Kids Day" to draw public
attention to children's issues in Mississippi, joining cities in all 50 states and Washington, DC to raise awareness in this important election year. Youth from around the state gathered at the capitol building with signs in hand. Speakers included Don Thompson, Director of Human Resources; Ed Legrand, Director of Mental
Health; Dr. Persharon Dixon, Director of the Coastal Health Center; and
Martez Hill, Chief Deputy Superintendent of Education
