Colorado
The
Every Child Matters Education Fund held a briefing in Denver Colorado
to release results of a statewide poll showing broad support for
investing in children and proposals to address problems facing children
and families in the next session of the legislature. Also, voters say
they oppose recent budget cuts made by the U.S. Congress.

safety, and well-being of children and overwhelming supports
the federal goverment guaranteeing health care for every
child and are willing to draw a line in the sand and either
support those in favor of or vote out their Members who
oppose insuring every child.

This report summarizes how voters
feel about children's issues in our polling done
over two years nationally and in Washington, West
Virginia, Iowa, New Hampshire, and Arkansas.

budget and tax priorities have threatened decades
of gains made on behalf of children, shows how state
budget cuts are hurting children, and presents our
child investment agenda. A
