AFSCME and SNEA held a rally against the budget cuts at the Grant Sawyer Government Building in Nevada. There were members of both unions as well as public supporters and University students rallying by the street to protest the upcoming budget cuts. Every Child Matters in Nevada went to the rally to distribute materials and support the groups rallying. The event had good public turnout and some media coverage.
