Comedian George Lopez took time from his busy schedule to address a large audience about the importance of voting.  In a speech in Las Vegas, George explained why everyone should take advantage of the democratic process, and the big difference that one vote can make. The well-known funny man particularly encouraged African Americans and Hispanics, who are underrepresented at the polls, to make sure they voice their opinion in the voting booth this year.

After the speech, George came into the crowd of fans, including many young people, and spent almost an hour talking about voting and why the elections are critical to communities of color.
