Kids Voting New Hampshire in Eleven Cities and Towns: Volunteers will be in cities and towns across the Granite State helping students vote on Election Day CONCORD, NH: Students in eleven cities and towns across New Hampshire will have the opportunity to vote with their families on Election Day. Volunteers will be collecting Kids Voting New Hampshire ballots for statewide offices all day for students in grades K-12. Kids Voting NH is a statewide community-based program that combines civic education activities in the classroom with an authentic voting experience on Election Day. Look for Kids Voting NH at voting sites in the following cities and towns: Bedford, Bow, Chichester, Concord (limited wards), Hanover, Hillsboro, Hopkinton, Londonderry, Manchester (all twelve wards), Pembroke, and Weare. Election Day student voting in these cities and towns is made possible thanks to volunteer support from the following companies and organizations: Associated Grocers, Bigelow & Co, Catholic Medical Center, Citizens Bank, Comcast, Cub Scouts Pack 393, Devine Millimet, Dartmouth College, Girls Inc. of Concord, Hopkinton Brownie Troop 10071, Lincoln Financial Group, Manchester School District, McLane Law Firm, Noah’s Ark, Ocean Bank, Telephone Pioneers, and Weare Home Educators. The New Hampshire Political Library is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working to increase civic engagement in the democratic process by promoting and preserving the state’s unique political traditions and ensuring these traditions are passed on to future generations. The Political Library operates the historic Pierce Manse and offers educational programs and tours for students and the public; administers Kids Voting New Hampshire programs in communities across the Granite State; maintains the only comprehensive collection of election campaign papers and memorabilia from over half a century of New Hampshire political history; and provides forums for voters and community leaders to meet Presidential candidates.
