Step Up for Kids

Every Child Matters is organizing a non-partisan, nationwide event, "Step Up for Kids Day," on September 16, 2008 in Pennsylvania to draw public attention to issues affecting America's children.

Speakers: Joan Benso, president and CEO of PA Partnerships for Children; Jerry Oleksiak, treasurer of Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA); Shelly Yanoff, executive director of Public Citizens for Children and Youth; and Jeff Hunsicker, legislative director of Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
